• We will always work with you to find the most economical means of shipment.
  • Except in unusual cases, we ship small, light orders by FedEx Ground or USPS, and larger, heavier orders by ConWay Western Express.
  • Because of length limitations, long poles are expensive to ship. The minimum freight charge is $80 to Oregon or Washington destinations.
  • Two 5' poles cost less to ship than one 10' pole, even though they weigh the same. Determine the shortest length appropriate for your needs. We are happy to cut long poles for a nominal fee ($1.00 per cut).
  • A general rule for shipping poles is: shorter is cheaper.
  • If you need long poles, we can often arrange a drop shipment from a source closer to you than Portland. This may save you some transportation cost.
  • There is a minimum $15.00 packaging fee on all orders of canes or poles.
  • Start the ordering process by filling out the Order Form. Call or fax the information to us, and we will be happy to provide you with a shipping quote.
  • If you call outside of our normal business hours (Monday thru Saturday, 9am-5pm Pacific time), our messaging system will take your call. Please speak your name and telephone number slowly so that we can respond quickly.
  • Sorry, we do not ship plants at this time. For a list of suppliers in your area who ship bamboo plants, please refer to the American Bamboo Society website.
